Jeff Scott is a Professor of Entomology. He received a B.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University, a MS in Entomology (minor in Neurobiology) from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of California, Riverside. He joined the Cornell faculty after postdoctoral study at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the graduate fields of Entomology, Genetics and Development, and Environmental Toxicology.  He received the Prominent Achievement Award from the Pesticide Science Society of Japan in 1996 and is a Member of Editorial Boards for Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, Insect Molecular Biology, and the Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B.
