2008 Landscape Horticulture Short Course "Focus on Evergreens"
The 2008 Landscape Horticulture Short Course, brought to you by members of the Cornell Landscape Horticulture Program Work Team, will be held on July 23 & 24 on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY. The course is designed to provide timely updates on subjects of critical need for landscape managers, nursery operators, garden retailers, and other Green Industry professionals. The day-and-a-half program will help you stay up-to-date on invasive species, alternative pest management, new pesticide regulations, green roofs, and pest diagnosis. Plant material coverage will focus on evergreens. The course is scheduled between the Cornell Floriculture Field Day (on July 22) and the New York ReLeaf Conference (July 25 & 26) to make it easier for you to attend several programs with one trip to Ithaca. Instructors will include Nina Bassuk, Bernd Blossey, Brian Eshenaur, Ron Gardner, George Hudler, Carolyn Klass, Donna Levy, Peter Trowbridge, and Paul Weston.
