Physical description: Blue star creeper is an evergreen mat-forming perennial with tiny, deep green leaves that are elliptic, slightly toothed, and 0.2 to 0.4 inch long. Starry, light blue flowers are borne from late spring to early fall.

Optimal growing conditions: Blue star creeper prefers moist soil, in full sun to partial shade. This plant is evergreen in warmer climates, and semi-evergreen in colder climates. It is drought tolerant.

Susceptibility to pests and diseases: There are no serious pest or disease problems for this plant.

Use: Blue star creeper is an ideal plant for woodland gardens, rock gardens or between paving stones. It can also be used as a groundcover, edging or accent. It tolerates light foot traffic (3 or more times daily).
